Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of the 100-episode run, this episode follows the Medama-Oyaji-focused Episode 44 and serves as a deliberate cool-down before the darker, more intense 'Banquet of the Snake Woman, Gorgon' in Episode 46. It functions as a standalone character spotlight for Neko-Musume, keeping the series' rhythm of alternating between comedic breathers and heavier supernatural storylines.
