Episode Context

Sitting at episode 44 of 100, this marks roughly the midpoint of the series and follows the standalone 'Mysterious Yōkai Train' adventure in episode 43, continuing the show's episodic yōkai-of-the-week structure while introducing the new character Kami-sama. It leads directly into episode 45, 'Neko-Musume Abuzz!? Yōkai Maid Cafe,' which shifts focus to Neko-Musume, suggesting this stretch of the series cycles through character-centric spotlights. The introduction of Kami-sama here may carry implications for episodes ahead as the back half of the series begins.
