Episode Context

Coming off Episode 3's confrontation with the yōkai Yasha, the series pivots to a quieter, character-focused story that builds out the ensemble cast early in this 100-episode run. Ittan-Momen's spotlight adds emotional texture to the group before Episode 5, 'The Cursed Movie,' steers back toward a new supernatural threat. This kind of early character development episode is typical of longer-running series establishing the dynamics that will pay off across future arcs.
