Episode Context

Only three episodes into a massive 100-episode run, this installment shifts from the character introductions of the first two episodes, including Nezumi-Otoko's debut in episode two, into the show's core format: standalone yōkai encounters that test Kitarō and his growing circle of allies. It establishes the episodic rhythm that will carry the series forward, with each new yōkai presenting a distinct threat and thematic angle.
