This series was amazing and mostly this episode was a fine one. The way it shows their reactions to the goods that the SDF gave was spectacular. I'd rate this series 10/10 and the episode 10/10, AMAZING!!!

Episode Context

As the final episode of Season 1's 12-episode run, this follows Episode 11's introduction of the dragon threat and the Alnus settlement's transformation, pivoting from those developments into deeper political and personal territory. Rather than delivering a traditional action-packed finale, it serves as a deliberate bridge episode, crystallizing the season's central tension between military capability and political restraint. It sets the stage directly for Season 2, where Itami's personal resolve will likely collide head-on with official JSDF policy.
