We're getting in very deep into psychological trauma and manipulations. Its a hard watch in a good way. Itami the GOAT. FINALLY WE GET SOME RORY, I DEMAND RORY EVERY EPISODE!

This is...not enough as an ending. Its pretty grim. It's like watching The Empire Strikes back and never get to watch Return of the Jedi. Its....sad.

Feels weird leaving only 1 episode of screen time for the main characters as the finale.

2 more episodes to go to change the pacing of the final arc.

Front part was good, abit philosophical. But the rest are about the same ol political talks that's been repeated again and again.

Yeahhhhh story is fine, but don't think this would play well for the modern audience, most won't try to understand and what is actually being portray and just see it as a surface level of romanticizing a relationship between an adult and a child. But hey, glad its not released on 2026.

Sugawara is in a very tough spot HAHAHA Bullied by a 12 yo. And boom goes the peace talk i guess.

Elf carrying Bazooka was fun hahaha Especially in most fantasy world Elfs are highly against technology. LeiLei being happy about the sword piercing throught was surprising. Rare emotion coming from her. RIP all the elf being fodders. RIP the 2 dragon hatchlings too LMAO

I don't even recall the song for the OP. Too generic but the visual was great. It didnt follow back where we left off of part 1 tho so...next episode it is.

It's like watching The Empire Strikes Back and never getting to watch Return of the Jedi. The pacing was a bit off to the point that only 1 episode was given to the main characters at the end. The story continues but you have to go to the light novel i guess. If only this was as popular as SAO they'd consider making the entire series anime.

Itami smartly strategizes and instructs everyone with their respective tasks for the rescue mission. As they reach the palace, Zorzal as a last ditch effort, brings out another giant obstacle, but it is no match for Rory and Lelei. Everyone finally unites again along with the Emperor and Pina this time.

Zorzal really had it coming with the JSDF raining down, and Tyuule taunting him about his position of power is even better given the circumstances. Bozes’ efforts to free Pina are unfortunately short lived as well.

After four long days Shandy finally returns after tailing Nonra and informs the others of the Pied Piper’s plan for Lelei. The tension during Lelei’s presentation was high, the ending was completely uncalled for, with a traitor amongst them.

A lot of political and diplomatic conversations are going on. What the marquess rightly said about the choice of sin was really thought provoking. Itami and the others head back to Rondel and realise that they now need to deal with the Pied Piper.

For a twelve-year old, Sherry is well beyond her years, but watching the castle burn in flames with her parents inside is heartbreaking., and she is instructed to keep the marquess safe. Her love for Sugawara fueling her determination brought her this far.

Prince Zolzal takes over now, in absence of the emperor, and his own sister disapproves of his incompetent actions regarding the senators. Turns out that Rory and the grandmaster go way back, through a joint journey. She asks the grandmaster a question before they depart, and the answer gives a lot of important lore and backstory about the gate.

Itami and the rest head to the city of Rondel. Lelei has come with one intention and that is to pass and gain status as a master. The grandmaster’s cheerfulness and clumsiness is endearing, and the family member reveal later? Did not see that coming. Sherry and her pearl necklace also make a reappearance.
