Episode Context

Arriving directly after the dissolution of Albert and Eugénie's betrothal, 'Encore' processes the personal fallout of that rupture before the season pivots toward the Count's deeper history. It sits at the exact midpoint of the 24-episode run, a breath between mounting conspiracies, and feeds directly into 'Haydée,' which shifts focus onto the Count's past and the long-gestating consequences of his orchestrated revenge.
