Episode Context

Coming directly off the series premiere 'Departure Ballad,' which established Tetsuro's mission and his bond with Maetel, this episode marks the 999's first planetary stop and introduces the anthology-style structure that will define the series across its 113-episode run. Each world functions as a self-contained moral fable, and Mars sets that template early. The journey continues into 'Titan's Sleeping Warrior,' carrying Tetsuro further into the unknown.
