Episode Context

Sitting at the season's rough midpoint, Episode 9 functions as a deliberate pivot from Rudo's personal adjustment arc in the preceding episodes toward the broader alliances and challenges that will define the back half of the 24-episode run. It introduces Canvas Town and new characters that expand the series' scope beyond survival mechanics into questions of community and purpose. This bridge episode sets the stage for future Cleaner missions while deepening the world in ways that should pay off significantly as the season progresses.
