It was a very successful first season. Both the subjects are processed and the internal and external structure of the characters are at a successful level. Zodyl character has Aizen similarities. He became a successful bad character with his charisma and mindset.

The artstyle and animation was so unique and amazing, I especially love canvas town- the way art was so appreciated there was emotional in some ways. I love the diversity of the characters and I can tell the author really love their characters. Really excited for season 2!

The Gachiakuta aspect feels real because it treats combat as a matter of survival, not as a spectacle. The animation and sound effects are also very well done.

delivers a gritty, high-stakes finale as Rudo fully embraces his power amid chaos in the Abyss. The raw animation and emotional tension hit hard, blending rage with resolve. It closes the season with momentum, promising a darker, fiercer path ahead.

Gachiakuta thrives not just because of action, but because it ties emotional growth to social commentary. Rudo’s journey mirrors the central thesis: what society throws away can still grow, still matter, and still love.

episode 24 delivers some very funny scenes, and the introduction of another group, aside from the cleaners, sky people (sphereites), and raiders, adds depth to the story and world-building. animation is good but not peak. still recommended to get a feel for season 2.

Best closing Arc ever, imagine hearing your father or a descendant of one of the important characters. Ending is such a good connection and has a great build up towards season 2. Hats off to Kudo for realizing that he maybe pushing the spherite culture to them.

The season closes its arc cleanly while quietly setting the stage for what’s next. Can’t wait. 100/10.
