This episode brings some much-needed chaotic energy to Gachiakuta. Compared to the emotional episode this episode has more action.

Damn okay Riyo?? Did not expect her to pull a stunt like that but hell yeah! I mean when the situation is dire, you gotta do what you gotta do. Also Fu and Enjin dynamic is funny af, Fu is such an interesting character and a boy failure at the same time. All of the Raiders are actually really well-written, you can see the effort being put into them.

The fight between Riyo and Noerde was incredible, with both pushing their limits and building tension. Suddenly, the way Riyo turned things around to win felt surprising and expressive, something you don’t usually expect, making the moment feel raw and impactful.

Riyo and Noerde's clash seems like a Tekken-style fight. The pacing of this episode is balanced and stable. What a shocking revelation we have at the end, and obviously, they like the cliffhanger that much. We have another cliffhanger.

This has to be the best fight scene so far in the series! It's intense, you can't look away, and you can tell it's gotten to a point where neither side could break or else they lose. It was fun to see how serious Riyo also gets - since she's almost always been laid back. The stakes have never been higher as this.

Not a single bad ep thus far

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the three-quarter mark of a 24-episode season, Episode 18 pivots sharply from Episode 17's deep dive into Zanka's backstory, refocusing on the Raiders-Cleaners conflict with Riyo's confrontation against Noerde as the centerpiece. This installment escalates the strategic and physical stakes that have been building across recent episodes. It functions as a critical bridge toward the final act, setting up the power dynamics and character positioning that will drive the season's climactic stretch.
