The episode deep dive into what it really means to have a special power in the world of Gachiakuta. It moves away from the big fights for a moment to show the hard work and pain that goes into being a Jinki user.

Gosh Dear is such a cutie! I really love that he acts like a kid as well, his expression is hilarious! I'm having a cuteness aggression over him. I love the interaction between some of the cleaners with the raiders. I appreciate some of the funny moments in this episode because it got really serious after all that.

This episode felt really intense, like things kept getting more dangerous with every moment. The fight between Jabber and Zanka kept building as both pushed harder. Their clash looked strong and impactful, and the ending was shocking, making it hard to guess what happens next.

This episode is dialogue-heavy. I don't enjoy action with too much dialogue. But they get back to having too much dialogue in real action. Zanka and Jabber's clash is so satisfying to watch. Both of them are quick to react, which is building the hype. The ending is unexpected.

The fights so far were short but packed, while the dialogues are moving the plot and intentions of each characters along. It's understandable that it feels a little disorienting because we have to look at several "team ups", though.

Villains are one of the most important element in the anime, and sometimes they experience something bad to become one.Good episode for me.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 16 of 24, this lands squarely in the season's escalation phase, directly following the explosive 'Clash!' which ramped up the Cleaners-versus-Raiders conflict. 'Gifted and Not' uses that momentum to dig into character psychology and power dynamics rather than simply continuing the brawl. It functions as a critical bridge episode, layering in revelations and tensions that will clearly fuel the high-stakes confrontations awaiting in the season's final third.
