Gachiakuta Episode 1
⚡ ALL REVIEWS
Deep and very emphasized background story. Fully invested in seeing this storyline through alongside captivating animation 10/10.
I really love how in Gachiakuta, the Horrible Rich People and the Decent Poor People trope is subverted, where you're not safe from being condescended, even from peasants , No matter your social rank, you'll just get shunned for your bad image. This creates a unique dystopia.
I love gachiakuta. It's got an early 2000's feel with its aesthetic and a really cool power system. I won't spoil anything, but the power system really hits an emotional level and asks a really good question about the nature of our world.
Gachiakuta started off strong with its first episode, the location setting showing how much the wound that Rudo bare, the only one he lives with get murdered and he gets accused of it. I feel like I want to watch next episode to see how much his journey going to be!
Love the art style and initial set up with the world building. Characters are also captivating and have intriguing backgrounds leaving you wanting more.
Feels like a high-budget film. It clearly shows the injustice and discrimination in the world and how not everyone lives under the same conditions, showing how one man's trash is another's diamond. And this anime reflects that very well, even in its first episode.
We're immediately introduced to stunning animation, soundtrack, voice acting, and a striking aesthetic that hooks you instantly and makes you want to binge the whole anime in one sitting. If you've watched a lot of anime, you'll know this is one of the better ones.
Mind-blowing! The art is absurd, the plot is familiar yet decisively unique and intense. This episode will definetly grasp your attention and keep it hostage. It's that "unjust to the good" world that anyone can relate. The author is a charismatic lady and she meant business!
E1 A somehow familiar and strange story. A kid with a bad past clung to him and defined his image to the people who sees him everyday. Rudo's turning point came when he was accused of killing his father figure regto. The animation is consistent all throughout the episode.
Another anime depicting poverty. A first episode that is so jam-packed it will make you want more. from poverty, to set-up, monsters, and powers Great episode, Good topic. Good animation. WATCH.
The episode gives off "trash-punk" vibes. It shows a massive divide between classes where the rich discard the useless, and the poor inherit the "sins" of their ancestors. The animation is good and shows emphasis on the character's emotions.
The first episode shows great build up and nice cliffhanger. This also shows the start of the character's strong emotions and vengeful plot that makes me look forward to the next episodes. The animation if great and the scene of betrayal is a pinch in the heart. A must watch!
Episode 1 blows my expectations away. It starts like a gritty but familiar dystopian tale, then shatters everything with betrayal, heartbreak, and a gut‑punch fall into a hellish abyss that reframes the whole story.
Starts with a unique and distinct gray visuals. slums seem despair and the rich feel lively and prosperous, while the main character, Rudo, fight for survival shows just how harsh this world is. Just how really impossible to ignore.
A very good first impression of the show, they really trying to get hook right away. Kei Urana really did show off her story and her visual design of her creation in her story! I really love the mystery of this world too! 10/10
progresses quickly into the story, viewers are kept invested with the curiousity of what that abyss holds
Brutal introduction with a grim world and strong hook
