This flashback episode uses soft lighting and shadows. It shows a sad, mysterious past that explains a lot.

A good backstory, it is needed to understand the whole picture of the anime. Not much action, but it is not dull and lifeless. Still a good watch.

It's mostly flashbacks and exposition, with some lighthearted slice-of-life moments mixed in some action. Not much going on other than that.
