EPISODE CONTEXT
As the first episode of a 50-episode run, this premiere exists purely to establish the core premise: Ryo's involuntary time displacement and his collision with the world of 2050. Everything here is catalyst — the temporal displacement, the introduction of allies and adversaries, and the groundwork for Neo Tokyo's power dynamics. Episode 2 follows up directly by formalizing Ryo's integration into the future police force, transitioning from bewildered outsider to reluctant recruit.
