the way the mc keeps such a refreshing level of positiveness is honestly so fun to watch, just need her to go out and make some actual acquaintances soon, watching her handle everything so well is lowkey what keeps me coming back to this show

A total swap of opinion i had for this anime one ep 1. There's a depth to the main character, there's a depth to all characters so far. Makes me want to root for the main character.

I love how unhinged the main character is. Training when you're sick and pushing yourself to the point of death? Also Leelee deserves the world. I hope Reirin can help her. Also is it just me, or is that handmaiden who is trying to get Leelee to turn sound like Ai Kayano, who voiced Gabi from episode 1? We also get to first hear the ending theme of the anime. It's ok, hopefully it can grow on me as I really enjoy watching this show.

Reirin is just digging in the dirt while Keigetsu is losing her mind over books and chores and I love it. Seeing her get excited about weeds and salt is so wholesome and it made me smile

Lili's rant felt so raw, but her choosing a bag of rice over a fancy hairpin shows how grounded her struggle is. She is such a complex character and her conflict with the Kin family is scary

Reirin turning that dump into a garden was so cool and she looks happier as a commoner. Keigetsu thought she won but now she has to study all day and it is hilarious

The irony of Keigetsu realizing the perfect life she stole is actually a grueling marathon of endless lessons and practice, it was a great moment of karma for the body thief

Lili shouting at her master about being the daughter of a dancer was a lot and it made me feel for her even if she was being kind of mean to Reirin at first

The fake Reirin thought she was getting a life of luxury but she actually just signed up for a nightmare schedule of constant studying and embroidery and instruments

It makes me so happy when Reirin looks at a pile of weeds and gets excited because her body finally works and she can actually move around without collapsing or coughing up blood

i'm hoping we see both characters learn and grow by facing the different circumstances in their new lives

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly off the inciting body swap event of Episode 1, this episode marks the transition from chaos to consequence — Reirin must now survive in Keigetsu's place rather than simply react to what happened. It's an early but critical chapter that establishes her coping strategies and the court's shifting dynamics, laying the relational and thematic foundation that later episodes will build upon.
