I don't really get the correlation of things, but this show is making me tear up because of how wholesome it is. Very "the power of grit" on Kou Reirin's part <3

This was a beautiful episode! The dance was animated so wonderfully that it brought me slightly to tears. This is my favorite episode yet.

I have a love, hate relationship with this episode. Its the end of the season which gives the biggest cilfhanger possilbe of the brothers?? And thats it. I so wish the 2nd season was out before I watched because I want to know whats next.

For a moment, I got a slight yuri vibe there 😅Reirin truly is a kind protagonist who is willing to help her foe. I'm still unsure what to feel about Kin Seika, but it's interesting that we're getting to explore the wide variety of characters in this show.

This was surprisingly a tearjerker. I loved this episode; it shows Reirin (in Shugetsu's body)'s kind yet scary side.

We got to see more of Kou Reirin's interaction with the people around her, as well as how Shu Shigetsu treats everyone around her. This episode focuses more on world-building, but there was evident plot progression as well.

The first episode already had a tight grip on me. I didn't expect the first episode to impress me this much. At first I thought we were following the kawai sou Mary Jane-chan troupe, but it seems not the case! Although some parts of the show felt kinda deus ex machina, it can't be helped since this show incorportates magic in its theme so being unbelievable is expected. 9/10 stars for me!

Fun adventure and very unexpectedly good at a certain point. Not groundbreaking and had a lot potential than how it ended on the first season. Don't see it improving further but will be open for surprise on the second season

Gyoumei finally figuring out the swap through that water reflection hit me way harder than I expected. Watching him realize he treated the wrong person like dirt all this time while she was in prison... the guilt on his face said everything. Also Reirin climbing that wall was pure lunacy and I love her for it

I love the story, characters, and animation! Can't wait for season 2!

The friendship between the Empress and Lady Shu was touching and tragic.
