The focus on Machi in this ep showed she's opening up a bit. Since Yuki decided to change himself for the better that has allowed him to start influencing the people around him was beautifully portrayed. Interested to see how they'll end this season on the next episode.

The pacing is steady, allowing the emotions to land, while the animation subtly emphasizes the tone. The episode focuses deeply on character development, exploring relationships in a meaningful and heartfelt way.

A surprisingly deep episode that took the story somewhere I didn't anticipate. The weight of Section 9's actions lingers after the credits roll. Batou's weapon choice felt perfectly in character, and the Tachikomas earned a level of investment here I hadn't felt before.

Wow... what a deep episode. I Never thought that the Section 9 were going to... mahn. And somehow, I always imagined Batou using a Gatling Gun, it just fits him. He was fucking badass there. I actually found myself wanting the Tachikomas to help out for the first time lol

Enjoyed every moment with machi and the crew, to the point that even akito's small violent outburst later on couldn't overshadow the episode's overall warmth, from machi sharing her feelings, to tohru's cute scarf moment, to rin and hatori's scenes.

A quieter, introspective episode that focuses on connection and self-worth. Machi’s interactions with Yuki feel genuine, especially the maple leaf moment. The contrast with the tense estate scene adds emotional weight.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the creative energy of the Cinderella-inspired school play in episode 23, 'Here You Are' pivots sharply inward, using the Sohma New Year's banquet as a pressure cooker for unresolved emotional conflicts. This penultimate episode deepens Yuki's arc and the broader family dynamics that have been building all season. It serves as essential connective tissue leading directly into the season finale, 'I'm Different Now,' positioning key relationships and internal struggles for their payoff.
