Low-key Ayame has got some straight fire drip. He strikes me as a little odd, though, not as odd as Akito tho, that mf weird. Glad to see Ayame trying to repair his relationship with his brother, though.

The snake spirit from the zodiac tales is introduced. Ayame Soma, Yuki’s elder brother, is an aesthetic character. He shared rather funny stories about their past. Both amusing and funny, these stories bother Kyo and Yuki, and give audiences the most needed comic relief.

Yuki’s older brother showing up makes Shigure’s house way more lively, and it’s even funnier since his personality matches Shigure’s lol. We also get a bit of their school flashback. Not a crucial episode, but nice insight into Ayame and his bond with Yuki.
