This episode is not bad and not okay as well for me. It's just plain and normal which focuses on the relationship between Mewi and Beryl. Wishing for a deeper plot to the story, though, and showcase more of Beryl's talent with the sword.

I think Episode 9 is where Beryl's reputation finally starts feeling unavoidable. Even when he tries to stay in the background people keep seeing what he's capable of. What I liked most was that he still acts like the same village instructor from Episode 1. The series has been really consistent with his personality and that's probably why I'm still enjoying it.

I’m really enjoying the bond between Mewi and Beryl. It’s so wholesome to watch! That aside, I do have a small nitpick. I just don’t understand how the heck Unc managed to outrun a horse and intercept it, LMAO! That doesn’t make any sense to me. That said, I’m loving the craftsmanship in this episode. The BGM is simply fantastic.
