There was a bait and switch between the last episode and the beginning, you wouldve thought the battle ended last episode which was too soon but this episode extended the battle with a much needed montage.

It sets up a very interesting fact about Frieren's hidden powers too. Unfortunately we didnt get to see more of the other characters in action against other clone.

Fighting off each other's clones had gone wild! Fighting off the OP MC's clone was the hardest to fight. With thousands of experiences and years to live, no doubt that that would be a hell of a clone!

I could say that this is the peak of the season!

I am completely fascinated by Übel's mindset. Her unique perspective is exactly what makes her techniques so exceptionally powerful.

Finally, my biggest takeaway from this episode is that true mastery isn't about rigid logic or calculated numbers; it’s about the depth of your imagination and a genuine love for your craft.

Only Frieren could defeat herself, however, she still needs help. In this episode, both Frieren and Fern tag together to defeat clone Frieren. Such beautiful animation, with good pacing all around, also Frieren knows that she need help due to she know her own weakness.

Übel isn’t stronger because she knows more , she’s stronger because she doesn't understand logic hahahaha

It's giving goosebumps! The animation is god tier and Frieren is casually aura farming here. The ending scene was very in character as expected too haha!

One of the most iconic anime fights of the decade. On top of that, the side characters are just as cool as Frieren. Ubel's magic is mind-blowing, given its characteristics. Huge payoff!

Edge of your seat episode fr. The action scenes of the main fight were too intense, you can see how strong Frieren is here. Fern did a really great job!

This episode will stay in my mind till I die. I don’t think I’ve ever loved the animation of this universe’s magic this much. It feels so unique and beautifully crafted.My favorite moment was the Übel fight, as it really shows the true limits of magic. Overall, it feels wholesome

The climax and finale of the second-stage examination. It was confusing since the previous episode shows that Fern shot the mimic but now it feels like the shot never happened nevertheless the fights in this episode are awesome especially with the Frieren Mimic.

The finale of this test is absolute peak. We finally see what a top-tier mage is capable of when they stop holding back thanks to Madhouse cooking. It sucks tho that some fan-favorites didn't make the cut, but it keeps the stakes feeling real. W climax.

This episode was visually pleasing as the fight continues. It delivered a great high stakes fight and meaningful dialogues as they overcome the difficulties of the challenges they faced.

I kinda miss Stark, though 😩

I wonder why the replica isn’t attacking the mages even though they’re having a loud conversation right next to it. They’re not even whispering, lol. Anyway, a lot of them tap out because of Sense’s replica. I guess they’re an examiner for a reason.

Epic scenes. Watching Frieren go toe to toe with her doppleganger. Peak fights right here. A must watch for all.

This is the episode where you finally feel how far everyone has come. None of it is flashy, but there’s this sense of “yes, we earned this” that made me smile. I didn’t expect to feel that much satisfaction from a slow build.

Frieren is the MVP of this episode animation is perfect. all mages shows all the power the hype is real but still frieren makes another funny moments to relax our nerves well deserve 10 out of 10 moments.

The final fight was so incredible. The sound of the huge spells in tandem with the fast animation made the battle feel awesome. The moment they landed the finishing blow was a great payoff for all the planning. It was beautiful to see a master and student work together.

Prefectly paced battle which gets the heart rolling as we go through the episode with drop-outs, dire situations, and strong enemies making their appearance. The sense of relief with each victory calms things down until the decisive final sequence against Frieren's clone. Endng it with the usual silly attitude of the main protagonists. An episode that we will never forget!

Übel’s character storytelling stands out strongly here, making her presence feel distinct and memorable. I was genuinely impressed by her abilities. The fight between Frieren and Fern is also beautifully animated and visually satisfying.
