This episode serves as a way to give more context as to why Erina is terrified of his father. Man, it's quite depressing seeing her childhood. It's safe to assume that is why she is like how she is in the current timeline. The Nakiri family is very talented, but It's just sad that they have this complicated relationship. I look forward to see more of the development of this plot!
