Episode Context

Sitting at the series' midpoint, episode 71 follows Raoh's devastating display of dominance in episode 70 and pivots hard into backstory and emotional groundwork. This is a bridge episode in the best sense, it deepens the Toki-Raoh dynamic with critical origin material that recontextualizes their rivalry. Everything here feeds directly into the confrontation building in episode 72, making it indispensable setup rather than a detour.
