Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of the series, episode 58 opens a new chapter immediately following one of the show's most emotionally devastating arcs. The Rei saga has concluded, and the narrative pivots toward Kenshiro's conflict with Souther and the remaining Nanto Seiken warriors, raising the scale of opposition considerably.
