What a wild first episode 🤣 It starts like a classic shoujo setup, then throws the most absurd twist ever. Kaho’s reaction honestly carried this episode for me. The comedy lands surprisingly well, and the visual style is pretty charming too. I already knew this anime would be chaotic in the weirdest way.
The first episode opens with a hilariously bizarre shoujo parody. The Studio Deen production subverts typical romance tropes using sparkling filters and crisp character designs to deliver sheer shock value. It pairs classic, pretty-boy aesthetics with completely childish, absurd humour. Great from the start.
What did I just watch lmao? The pacing is quite fast for my liking and the build up is lacking for my personal preferences. The animation is good tho. And I like their antics, it’s giving childish. Kanade looks so good tho, I like his character design.
