The first episode opens with a hilariously bizarre shoujo parody. The Studio Deen production subverts typical romance tropes using sparkling filters and crisp character designs to deliver sheer shock value. It pairs classic, pretty-boy aesthetics with completely childish, absurd humour. Great from the start.
