It is annoying how Rei just appears out of nowhere and starts a fight with Ryo during her work hours and now we have a love triangle

I was really hoping for more cute scenes between Ryo and Soma today, but then Rei had to ruin everything by showing up at her office. Watching them get into that massive fight over the project was stressful because you know it is going to make Soma so jealous. I just want Ryo to stay focused on her fireman and not this guy from her past.

The project meeting got way too personal with Rei there and now Ryo has to deal with her ex every single day at work

You can really feel the tension when Rei walks in and starts a huge argument with Ryo at the office and it totally messes up the mood

I hated seeing Rei show up at Ryo's job just when things with Soma were getting good and that fight they had was so intense

My heart felt so heavy when they showed the school flashbacks because you can see how much Ryo has changed since then and how much she loves Souma now

Rei is definitely going to be a problem and it is frustrating how he just thinks he can walk back into her life like that

That scene where Ryo is told she has to team up with Rei at the office was so tense, and it is obvious that Rei is trying to get in between her and Souma

Rei appearing right at her office is so bold and you can tell Ryo just wants to vanish into the floorboards rather than talk to him

It looked so awkward for Ryo to stay professional while Rei kept bringing up their old school days and making things difficult for her and Souma

Souma and Ryo were having such a good time before the ex appeared and it would be better if they went back to being lovey dovey without Rei around

Rei and Ryo being forced to work together was so uncomfortable and it seems like Souma is going to lose his mind soon

I hate when an ex shows up at work and ruins everything like Rei did this week because Ryo and Souma were already doing so well and now it is just awkward

Those flashbacks to their school days actually explain a lot about why Ryo does not want anything to do with Rei anymore

The drama with Rei showing up at Ryo’s job is such a headache for them, but it adds some needed tension to the relationship. I really felt for Ryo when she was forced to team up with him after everything that happened in the past. Souma needs to step up and show Rei that he has no chance anymore

I really wasn't expecting Rei to just show up at her workplace like that, and seeing Souma get all possessive is definitely my highlight of the week. It feels like things are moving way faster than the first season, and the tension between the three of them during the team up was actually pretty great even for a short show

Having the ex show up at her office was such a messy move and I love how uncomfortable it made Ryo feel

The episode felt really short and I wish they showed more of the school flashbacks instead of just mentioning them

That office scene with Rei showing up was everything I wanted from this sequel

Souma looked so bothered about the ex coming back and seeing that jealousy flare up was the best part of the whole workday

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 1 established the foundation of Ryo and Souma's relationship, introducing their dynamic and setting the romantic premise in motion. Episode 2 functions as a deliberate deepening of that groundwork, strengthening the emotional and physical bond between the two leads before later episodes introduce complications. Sitting at the quarter-mark of the eight-episode season, this is the moment the series begins converting initial attraction into something more consequential.
