Did Hibana really just fall in love with Shinra! She may be tsunedere but she is adorable! It was great that we are able to finally see the past of Hibana and the reason of her actions! More screen time of Shinra and Hibana please!

I actually got chills watching the flashback scenes in this episode. The way they animate the dark, shadowy flames is so creepy but awesome. Learning more about Shinra’s brother makes the story feel much more personal and high-stakes.

Aftermath vibes. Investigation mode activated. Company 8 starts feeling less like rookies and more like real investigators. Trust between members strengthens. You start caring about the squad more than just the explosions.
