Episode Context

Episode 4 continues the Aoki title-match arc introduced in the previous episode, 'A Woman's Battle,' deepening the emotional and psychological stakes for both Aoki and his opponent Imae before their lightweight championship bout. This is the calm-before-the-storm entry, all buildup, no payoff yet, positioning the actual fight to land in episode 5, '100% Fake.' Still early in Rising's 25-episode run, this stretch signals the season's willingness to give supporting cast members full spotlight arcs beyond Ippo's own journey.
