Episode Context

Coming off Ippo's brutal Shimabukuro fight in episode 2, this episode serves as a deliberate cooldown, shifting focus to relationships and comedy before the season ramps up again. It plants the seeds for Aoki's upcoming lightweight title challenge against Imae Katsutaka, pivoting the spotlight away from Ippo to give the supporting cast room to breathe. At episode 3 of 25, Rising is still in its early stretch, using these quieter beats to build emotional investment before the heavier arcs ahead.
