Episode Context

Episodes one through three focused on assembling the Kickers and building internal cohesion, this is the payoff, their first genuine competitive trial against the dominant Nanyo squad. As the opening half of a two-part match, episode four launches the series' first major sustained conflict and directly sets up episode five's continuation of the grueling battle to score. It's the point where the show transitions from setup to proving whether this underdog team has any real fight in them.
