Episode Context

Following Kakeru's efforts to rally the struggling Kickers in the first two episodes, this installment pressure-tests their bond by threatening to remove Deco from the club entirely. Resolving this off-field crisis is essential groundwork, it cements the team's emotional commitment to one another before they face serious competitive stakes against Uesugi and the Nanyo team in upcoming episodes. At episode 3 of 23, it's a clear early-season foundation piece designed to prove the Kickers' unity isn't just surface-level before the real matches begin.
