Episode Context

Coming off the explosive first episode where Shirou was dragged into the Holy Grail War and summoned Saber, this second episode pumps the brakes to establish the foundational rules and key players that will drive the entire season. It bridges the gap between Shirou's initial bewilderment and the informed decisions he'll need to make as alliances form and battles intensify. Everything introduced here, the war's mechanics, Kirei's role, Rin's positioning, becomes the scaffolding for the escalating conflicts in the episodes ahead.
