Even with an unusual duration for an anime episode it still fun to watch and it doesn't feel long at all

Episode Context

Episode 1 serves as the true starting point of the main narrative after the prologue focused entirely on Rin Tohsaka's entry into the Holy Grail War. By replaying the timeline through Shirou Emiya's eyes, it establishes the second protagonist and sets up the inevitable convergence of their paths. Everything introduced here, Shirou's ideals, his limitations, his accidental exposure to the War, becomes the foundation for the escalating conflicts and alliances that define the rest of the season.
