Episode Context

Episode 7 concludes the season by resolving the memory-layer crisis introduced in Episode 6, 'Hollow.' While the previous episode trapped Guan Chao in a childhood memory where BUG Being No. 43 endangered those memories, this finale transitions him back to reality. The narrative converges around Xiao Yi and the approaching apocalypse, merging the psychological thriller elements with immediate survival stakes. This shift marks the end of the enclosed mystery format, delivering a high-stakes resolution that ties the season's themes of truth and memory to a tangible global threat.
