Episode Context

Sitting at episode 60 of 102, this marks the critical opening salvo of the Tartaros arc, the season's largest and most consequential storyline. The previous episode established Tartaros's attack on the Magic Council, and this episode escalates that threat directly to Fairy Tail's doorstep, effectively serving as the guild's declaration of war. Everything from here forward builds toward an extended, high-stakes confrontation that will define the back half of the season.
