EPISODE REVIEWS

My heart broke for Minka when she was cornered by the aggressive editor that was forcing her to compromise her creative integrity. It is so deeply frustrating. Thank goodness Homura and Juka were right there to step in and back her up.

This anime is really weird. I try to take it seriously, but after a while, the muscular fairy practically shoves his crotch in my face. I feel like there's a lot of lore related to the fairy world, their clans, and who the characters are that they show us but haven't fully introduced. The visuals are spectacular; it's truly a pleasure to watch the fight scenes in the surreal environments that represent the suffering of the characters the fairies want to help. I think if I could change anything about this anime, it's that all the characters are very stereotypical, lacking any distinguishing features that set them apart from generic tropes.

This episode focuses more on Homura, and I honestly love how it gave us a better look into his story and motivations. Learning more about his past made me like him as a character more.
