Episode Context

Positioned at episode 22 of 25, this lands squarely in Fafner's endgame escalation phase, following the character-focused introspection of Episode 21's training camp sequence. The emotional groundwork laid here, particularly around sacrifice and the toll of combat, is essential setup for the final three episodes, where narrative threads converge toward the series' climax. This is the point where Fafner transitions from building tension to paying it off, making it a critical bridge between mid-arc development and the finale's resolution.
