Once you get used to the clunky animation and stiff character models, the story underneath is decent enough. I don't really like how Akira is already somewhat integrated into the team for a supposed super weapon but I shouldn't expect too much. I do wish he had some kind of outfit in his virtual mindscape because I hate having to see his average anime dude body naked.
