Eren literally telling him he never progressed from lines to surfaces because he is just a kid who likes to draw is brutal asf. She did not even say it to me but I took it personally

Seeing Eren light up and get back into art after learning about her dad was a beautiful moment she deserves that happiness

Sayuri wanting to tell Koichi how she felt but he's all focused on Eren is just painful to watch you just know she likes him

Eren getting so angry when the bald teacher touched her head was intense I totally felt that she is not messing around and its awesome

This episode and the first one really feel like they were meant to be one long premiere you almost have to watch them together

Eren's dad not actually dying by suicide really changes everything about her character from last episode it makes so much more sense now

Man, that post-credits scene with Koichi just struggling in that corporate job hit me hard. It's a tough reminder about chasing dreams and what reality can do to them sometimes it just feels really unfair

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly off the series premiere that introduced Koichi's limitations alongside Eren's striking natural talent, Episode 2 shifts focus from first impressions to the friction those impressions create. This is where the foundation of their relationship gets its first real test, establishing emotional and thematic throughlines that the back half of the 13-episode run will build upon.
