This episode was very slow & cozy & I liked that. It was a good break from all the tense moments. Knowing how smart the killer is, there's going to be a race between him and Satoru to achieve their goals. I loved bonding between Satoru & Kenya even though I don't trust Kenya yet.

Episode Context

Coming off the setbacks of episode 6, 'Grim Reaper,' this seventh installment marks a critical turning point where Satoru's interventions shift from proactive hope to reactive desperation, the series' emotional midpoint pivot. It bridges the initial rescue arc with the darker, more consequence-driven back half of the season. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into episode 8, 'Spiral,' where the fallout from Satoru's escalating actions promises to complicate his mission further.
