This episode is quiet sad. Satoru basically ends up right where he started, still getting blamed for everything. First half feels slow with all the running and dodging, but that slow burn makes the ending twist slap way harder. If you’re into tension over action, don't skip this episode then.

Este capítulo nos enseña que el destino no cede fácilmente. La angustia de Satoru al ver los guantes de Kayo muestra que no basta solo estar presente ; para cambiar el futuro, hay que entender la raíz del mal.

Episode Context

Sitting at the near-midpoint of a tight 12-episode run, 'Getaway' follows the fourth episode's attempts to alter the past and pivots the narrative back to the present-day timeline, raising the stakes considerably. It bridges the initial setup of Satoru's Revival ability and early investigations with the more dangerous, consequence-heavy back half of the season. This episode establishes the emotional and narrative foundation for the intense developments that drive episodes 6 through 8.
