Sad moments, especially when they involve a mother. Satoru’s mother is a true figure of strength no matter what hardship Satoru goes through, she will always take care of and protect him. I don’t know why, but I felt betrayed in the second half of the episode. But at the end, Satoru encounters the culprit again after 15 years.

Seeing the hamsters at the beginning made me sick and made me hate our villain even more. Something thing I love about this show as a whole is that it mentions things in passing that become important later. While not face-paced, every moment matters. Can't wait for the finale!

This episode turned my heart inside-out. It was all sad & heartbreaking to what happened to Satoru. His mom is a superwoman for all she has done. A sad detail: Satoru is not shown in opening theme, goes to show he was not there with them. all those years. Excited for finale.

Waking up fifteen years later in a coma-weakened body is jarring and deeply melancholic. But seeing Kayo alive, married, and holding her son — is genuinely beautiful payoff. Yashiro resurfacing as a politician is chilling. The rooftop confrontation looms like a storm cloud.

it ramps toward the endgame strongly. Pacing is tight and urgent. Animation delivers emotional highs with excellent direction. Characters reach key turning points that feel earned. Holy eyes so watery.

I really liked this episode as we got a small background on Yashiro's character and a glimpse on what happened on Satoru. And the way the episode end is so great that it sets up the finale for the last episode.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the major developments of Episode 10, 'Joy,' this penultimate entry deliberately downshifts to process the aftermath and recalibrate the emotional landscape around Satoru and his closest bonds. It serves as a critical bridge episode, layering the personal and psychological stakes that will fuel the series' climax. Everything here is designed to set the table for Episode 12, 'Treasure,' where the overarching mystery reaches its resolution.
