This episode handles Aya’s case quickly. It was way much faster and simpler than Hina’s. It feels like a one-episode detour that also sets up another character to save. But the real hook is the ending which was the culprit’s identity finally gets a clear push forward. If you’ve been theorizing, this episode gives you that ‘I knew it!’ moment.

The bright & hopeful episode turned tense & clostrophobic. The reveal was placed nicely & atmosphere, setting & animation for it were so good, though I must say the person was predictable. Regardless, the killer is always one step ahead, even when Satoru can see the future.
