i felt so bad for vera when she went back to that cabin and isak was acting like he actually remembered being there

Vera going back to the place where Billy was kept was so haunting, especially with Isak there. You can really tell she wants to believe he is her brother so badly.

uncle harald is definitely hiding something big and the way he keeps fighting vera just makes him look more guilty than before

i really hate how magdalena treated vera in those flashbacks because it makes so much sense why vera is such a mess now

that dna test sequence was so stressful and mattias is really trying his best to shut everything down before vera finds anything real

Vera getting stuck in that mine was so stressful and I am glad Isak was there to save her because this investigation is putting her in way too much danger

Mattias is being such a jerk about the DNA test and Isak being his brother just makes his attitude even more annoying and he is so focused on the money that he missed the whole point

Isak recognizing that photo of Tommy and mentioning the Sailor guy is such a weird detail and you have to wonder who else in this village knows exactly what happened that night twenty years ago

I was genuinely sick to my stomach when Harald mentioned Tommy throwing the body down a mine shaft and I was hoping for a better ending for Billy but this show is clearly going for the darkest route

It was so intense when Isak pulled Vera out of that well, especially since Mattias keeps acting like the guy is some kind of predator. The tension in that mine was suffocating and the atmosphere is getting darker every minute

That DNA twist was a massive gut punch and it makes the whole search for Billy feel even more tragic now and the family secrets in this town are absolutely disgusting and everyone is lying to Vera

Vera going down into that mine alone was such a bad move but seeing her fall into the well was terrifying and Isak getting there just in time to pull her out was intense

I was not ready for that DNA result at all and finding out Isak and Billy are half-brothers changes every single theory I had about this family and what happened to that kid

I really felt for Vera when she was at the site where they kept Billy, because her PTSD is clearly hitting her so hard right now. Mattias needs to stop being so cynical and help her instead of just worrying about the money

Harald finally talking about the mine shaft and what Tommy did made my skin crawl and the whole scene at the site felt so heavy and you can tell Vera is struggling with her past and the way Mattias treats her just makes it worse even if he thinks he is protecting her from a scam artist and this mystery is getting way deeper

Kazuya is such a bad friend for always messing with Wataru while he is trying to score. You would think your best friend would help you out instead of being a total distraction

I really felt for Wataru when he was trying to figure out if Mai even likes him, especially with all these other girls constantly jumping in his path

The way Satomi acts all high and mighty just to end up with Wataru is hilarious. She really couldn't keep that act up forever and the drama at the shop felt real

Seeing Wataru and Satomi finally together at the restaurant was a lot more intense than the first two episodes. The art for those scenes looks way better than most stuff from the nineties

I hate how Kenji keeps getting in the way and blocking Wataru from talking to Mai. It makes me so mad because he is just being a gatekeeper for no reason

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the three-quarter mark of a four-episode series, this episode functions as the narrative's turning point. The groundwork laid in Episodes 1 and 2 — establishing Wataru's relationships and the emotional stakes between the five women — now faces its most direct complications. Episode 3 exists to raise the tension and narrow the paths forward, directly setting the stage for whatever resolution Episode 4 delivers.
