I spent the whole series just expecting typical 90s ecchi tropes, but this finale actually focused on the passage of time. Seeing the summer heat give way to that cooler autumn vibe in the dream sequence felt really nostalgic. I was surprised by how much the ending theme stuck with me after the screen finally went black.
