This feels so refreshing. It has such a solemn, quiet, peaceful tone that most recent animes don’t have. Every scene looks like an artistic drawing, and the accuracy and attention to detail are incredible.

Rewatching this series for the 3rd time now and that's how good it is! The first ep was pure magical! From the OSTs, animation, and the detailed and sudden movements — were perfect! The calm and cozy feels were successfully conveyed, and I couldn't help myself to be amazed at how this underrated anime was sooo beautiful! Emma and William's scenes were totally heart-fluttering! And the visuals were soooo mesmerizing, like I can feel that I'm also in that European era. That camera span from Al to William was great.

Para ser un animé del 2005 no está nada mal. En soundtrack es muy decadente pero la calidad del dibujo es muy detallada. El contexto es Londres de la época victoriana, la animación es bien mediocre y es extraño ver la cultura inglesa mezclada con el lenguaje japonés, no hay reverencias pero si términos como one-san. Un animé evidentemente de romance entre una criada y pareciera un noble. Un ambiente muy sutil, poco diálogo, tierno pero con muchos vacíos.
