I have to give them props for trying to resolve the situation's issue as creatively as possible, one that works within the powers and skills of the characters. And the way it all became a heartfelt love letter to certain characters as well, it just brought tears to my eyes! I adore this episode a lot.

The story keeps deepening. Everything hidden within the Outer Cosmos is completely new territory for us, so every detail feels like a fresh discovery. Meanwhile, Witch seems to be on an entirely different side quest. Hahaha. A familiar face appears out of nowhere. Wow, another great step forward in the adventure, it really got me fired up. That development was genuinely unexpected.

I love Rebecca's last line that really hammers home the bittersweet tone but only make sense in her world. The eventual heartbreak had me believing the worst case scenario but Mashima manage to make it bittersweet that makes sense to the plot and not a cop out. The trial of the temple was short and simple, but it did introduces a new narrative device to the story.
