Things get messy in a way that is sometimes frustrating, but the episode has genuine tension and a stronger emotional pull than most of the middle stretch. The drama goes big, and not every choice lands cleanly, but it makes you want to see how this wild ride ends.
I think this episode had incredible depth but felt slightly short with how Yugure and Akira handling Amoru's feelings. This circle never truly communicated their wants and needs together. I feel for Amoru as she definitely never got to develop from her trauma.
This episode is really sad, and I can't help but pity Amoru. All that effort, only to be treated like a minor character. To be honest, with the direction the story is taking, Amoru's presence doesn't really matter much. At this point, it feels like the story is just forcing her into the narrative, which I hate. So far, she's felt more like an extra than an actual main character. Really, really pitiful.
