Episode Context

After episode one's dramatic escape from Black Swan Bay with Zero's dragon transformation, this second episode steps back in time to flesh out Tianjiao and Zihang's history with the enigmatic Nibelungen. It's a deliberate narrative detour that deepens the emotional stakes before the story returns to the present timeline. Episode three shifts focus to Lu Mingfei's birthday and introduces the connection between him and Chu Zihang, building on the groundwork laid here.
